AGCO will be hosting an information session this summer at Farm Technology Days at the Crave farm in Dodge county. The session will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 22nd, located at the AGCO equipment booth. The event is open to any high school and college students interested in large equipment engineering and/or sales. This will be a free event, with AGCO also handing out prizes and give-aways. Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is the largest agriculture exposition in Wisconsin, a three day outdoor event that showcases the latest improvements in production agriculture. Each year, it is held in a different Wisconsin country, on a different host family farm. This year’s show will be in Dodge County at the Crave Brother’s Dairy. Mandatory safety training has been scheduled for all students, and grad students. Others are also encouraged to attend. The training will be held in room 118 Lower Lab, 8:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2009. Please let your students know.
Congratulations to Eric and Anita Thompson on the birth of their daughter, Lauren Alice. Lauren arrived 1:12 am, May 2rd, weighing 7lbs, 13oz, at 20 in. long. Everyone is doing great! Stop by the office and see Debbie to sign a card!
On Monday, May 11th, USPS postage rates will be going up. The new rates will be posted in the vault, above the postage meters. Please note, a single letter, less than 1 ounce will be .44 cents. (Old rate .42 cents)
Base rate for a 1 ounce flat will be .88 cents; presently the rate is .83 cents.
