Susan Reinen will join the BSE Administrative Staff beginning July 6th as a Payroll and Benefits Specialist.  Susan is new to the University, but comes with over 22 years of retail store management experience and payroll and benefits management.

Hannah Uhlenhake received a $750 scholarship from the Daughters of Demeter, a charitable organization made up of College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) faculty members’ spouses.

Shin Yee Wong, a PhD student with Robin Connelly, has just completed her prelim.

Matt Digman successfully defended his thesis “Simultaneous preservation and pretreatment of perennial grasses for fuel ethanol production”.  Matt will join the BSE staff June 1, 2009 as an Assistant Professor.
